I couldn't be happier that I jumped into this game blind, on a whim.
While it's amospherically pleasing, no, it's not current generation AAA graphics or gameplay. Yes, there is a small but noticable lag to adjust to, but nothing too difficult to deal with. Short enough to blow through in a couple of days, with fun, if not overly complex combat, and never a moment of boredom. Trip, a technologically savvy young woman has been imprisoned by a slave ship but manages to. It has an excellent narrative (I'm a sucker for story driven games), and interesting characters. Mysterious slave ships harvest the dwindling population and take them out west, never to return. It's an action adventure game, reminiscent of Darksiders, with more of a sci-fi, dystopian, post-apocalypse twist.
The game was a fantastic experience to kill some quarantine time. If you download this game from Steam and play it as released the game will look like crap and I hate to use that word.
